I also reviewed the large duffel in the same color (black) and stated it had exceeded my expectation on quality, size, and function. I feel the same about this one. I purchased it with the intention of using it as my primary carry -on with the large duffel as my secondary carry on. It's not too large, but just the right side for your go-to needs while in flight. I will be flying with a toddler and a newborn and did not want to run the risk of possibly gate checking a rolling carry on if it was too big (we had to gate check our rolling carry on twice on international flights even though it technically met requirements but was too "fat" and cumbersome for the overhead bins on smaller planes. I saw that passengers with duffel bags, as opposed to rolling cases, got to take theirs on board with them.) I can also see this as the ideal size for use as an everyday diaper bag for 2 children. It's very soft and pliable and has the feel of a well-made, insulated lunch bag (the only thing i can relate it to).

Pros: 5 metal "feet" on the bottom, thick zippers that seem very substantial, lots of large zippered pockets, and well-placed slip pockets, detachable, cross body strap, wipe clean material inside and out, neutral lining inside and clean classic look outside, large interior, but not oversized.

Cons: it is heavy while empty, but i think that is a testament to how well-made the bag is.
