Brompton Bungo Messenger Color: Brown Review

I love this bag. I've had it for over 3 months now and have no real complaints about it. The build quality is top notch inside and out. It has ample room inside for my 15" macbook pro, all the cables I carry around with me, Bluetooth mouse and headphones, notepad/pens/etc.. Everything one would need to take work offsite. There are a couple pouches for papers, but there is only really room for a short stack of them.

There is a pouch on the back that also has a zipper on the bottom (Which you can unzip to pass through the bottom as well if you want to slide the bag over the handle of some rolling luggage)

This probably would not be a bag you'd buy for use in school. It won't hold all your textbooks and your laptop, unless of course you go digital with the textbooks (You might be able to squeeze one in there). I use it to carry my laptop and everything I really need to get work done to and from the office or wherever I'm working that day.

The only CONS I can think of is that if you have a wireless mouse with one of those very small USB plugs you leave in the laptop, it can get caught on the liner when trying to put it in the bag. it does fit in my case, but it's snug and takes a little finesse. I just went with a Bluetooth mouse and my laptop slides right in. I would assume this is the same for any snug laptop bag.

The flap makes it slightly difficult to dig around in there while wearing it, but it can be done with some practice (and I rarely try to do that anyway).
It's a bit pricy, but I'm very happy with the purchase.

** Update
I've had this bag over a year now, and it still looks great (showing very slight wear on the corners of the leather flap). I use it daily bringing my laptop to and from work, and I've had no problems whatsoever with it. The seams are all still holding strong (though I don't cram a lot in it, so I can't say how it holds up to heavier loads). And I still get compliments on it.
