I had my first Serengeti pair of glass over 20 years ago when they first came out with the Driver Lens. I've had half a dozen or so Serengeti glasses since and the polarized nm555 is by far my favorite all around lens. In general I've had very positive experience with the durability of the frames and I'm not one who is particularly careful, don't even keep them in the case, just my shirt pocket or dash or visor in the car.I've also tried Mau Jim's Grey and HCL Bronze lenses, they are good perhaps less light transmittal than the Serengeti nm555 lenses as point of reference. I find them not as good when driving and looking inside the dashboard, it is a bit too dark making it difficult to read what's on the dashboard.
These glasses get a 5 star because of the outstanding glass lens- scratch resistant, light weight and superb optical qualities and the frame with a timeless design.
Highly recommend these glasses for their functionality and style. They fit my face well and I've a medium face with big nose.
