I have a MacBook Pro, Retina Screen--the 15 inch model. The sizes for cases can be a little misleading. The first case I bought was too big, even though it was advertised for the MacBook Pro. The problem seems to be that the Retina Screen model was so new the case manufacturers were not up to date, so I got precise measurements before I ordered this case.

It fits perfectly. It's very sturdy and I love being able to just unzip it, open it and work. The case holds the top part in a secure 'sleeve,' which does not interfere with the screen viewing area.

I did not want to be pulling the computer in and out of a protective case. With this case I can put it on my lap, open it up and work away. It never leaves the case. The case has a nice handle and a shoulder strap. It's truly a efficient, protective case. Unzip, open, type. Close, zip and carry. This efficiency should be a no-brainer for case makers, but I suspect it isn't. Well, this case does the job and I recommend it, highly.
